Customer Development Executive – South West – Premium Ambient Foods
Salary D.O.E, £6,000 bonus, Company Car and a 6.5% company pension contribution
One of the UK’s leading premium branded jams & preserves businesses has created a new opportunity for a Customer Development Executive to drive and further develop their presence across the South West of England. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and their portfolio boasts a number of instantly recognisable products. Following strong growth of the overall category the business has achieved national distribution across all customer channels. Following increasing demand for their products, the business is seeking an ambitious sales professional to join the team.
As a Customer Development Executive, you will take direct responsibility for an existing account portfolio of c.120 customers across a number of customer channels such as independents, delis, garden centres and tourist attractions. In addition to maintaining and developing the existing business, you will be tasked with identifying new customers and developing trading relationships. You will report directly to the Account Controller and can expect a great degree of autonomy to make commercial decisions and drive sales.
The successful candidate for this position will be a self-motivated sales professional with a track record of developing business within a regional sales position. You must have direct experience working for a food manufacturer, distributor or within a field sales marketing agency such as Reach or McCurrach. Our client is looking for an honest and driven individual who can make a difference in developing the brand and future growth.
From a location perspective, this is a home based role with travel to customers. The area covers South Wales, Birmingham and into the South West.
