Listed among the Top Players in the Global Fresh Baked Products Market 2018-2025, Bridor’s major customers include artisan bakers, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, airline and retail catering. 

Bridor’s recruitment objectives

Bridor’s roots are firmly placed in France where they have a strong reputation for their quality frozen goods. However, the brand’s exponential growth in the UK and Ireland food market led them to enlist the help of FMCG Selection. Bridor has high expectations when it comes to recruiting the very best people. What’s more, the profile of Bridor’s workers has evolved over time. While they are open to recruiting people from the food industry, they also seek experience from blue-chip and branded backgrounds.

How FMCG Selection helped

Working as Bridor’s exclusive partner in the UK, FMCG Selection assisted the business with its aggressive recruitment drive to build a strong workforce representing the brand in the UK and Ireland. We were proactive in our approach, working hard to get the message out about Bridor’s growth in the UK and Ireland, while ensuring it stood out from its competitors. One of the ways we successfully attracted the right talent was by running a fully-branded advertising campaign on LinkedIn and The Grocer. Despite the roles being UK and Ireland based, it was still important to get the cultural fit right for the French brand and place people with a true passion for food.

The outcome

FMCG Selection have now been working with Bridor since 2014 and during that time we have made 10 full-time placements in retail and field sales. Roles include National Account Managers and Business Development Managers across the regions in the UK and Ireland. All placed candidates remain within the company and three received promotions within 24 months.
