Case Study: Tayto Group

A £250 million privately owned Northern Irish snacking supplier, Tayto Group is the largest British-owned crisp and snack manufacturer, producing over five million packs a day across seven UK sites. They also manufacture an extensive range of private label crisps and snacks for major UK retailers, as well as exporting to every continent.

Tayto Group required National Account Managers for several of the major retailers it supplies to including Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Tesco, as well as a Senior Account Controller for Scotland. The brief was clear, particularly when it came to the traits and experience Tayto Group expected from its candidates, including specific customer experience with the specified retailers.

With a clear but precise brief, this gave us a clear focus on identifying the best talent for the roles. For example, the Tesco National Account Manager position required an upcoming candidate based locally to the business with a strong character plus brand and private label experience.
