National Account Manager – Foodservice – Dairy

One of the UK’s leading dairy manufacturers has created a new opportunity for a National Account Manager to drive and further develop their presence within the Foodservice market. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and their portfolio boasts a number of instantly recognised products. Following strong growth of the overall category the business has achieved national distribution all sales channels. Following increasing demand for their products, the business has created a National Account Manager role to support the growth of the business.

Role

As National you will take direct responsibility for an existing c.£20m account portfolio which consists of National wholesalers such as Brakes, Bidfood, Booker and regional wholesale customers such as Thomas Ridley, JJ Foodservice and Bako. In addition to maintaining and developing the existing business you will be tasked with identifying new customers and developing trading relationships. You will report directly into the Account Controller so can expect a great degree of autonomy to make commercial decisions.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will be a self-motivated sales professional with a track record of developing business within the foodservice industry, ideally with experience of selling into Foodservice customers in a field-based capacity. It is essential that you have worked within a food/FMCG environment. The business is looking for an honest and driven individual who can make a difference in developing the business.

Benefits

£50,000 to £55,000 bonus, company car, 9% pension contribution, 25 + 8 days holiday

Location

This is a fully home based role with regular travel to customer within England
