One of UK’s most successful family owned fresh produce businesses has created an opportunity for a National Account Executive to join the team. The business has established themselves as one of the leading suppliers within the category they operate. Supplying high quality products on private label basis the business has a strong presence across the grocery multiples retailer & wholesale channels. The business remains highly profitable and they have recently invested their production facilities. Following growth of their UK business, they are now looking to appoint a Junior National Account Manager to support the wider commercial team.

Role

As a Junior National Account Manager, you will take direct responsibility for a portfolio of smaller retail accounts as well as supporting the wider commercial team across four key retail accounts, Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons & Lidl. Reporting into the Head of Commercial you will work closely with the entire Sales team as well as the Category, NPD, Purchasing, Technical, Planning and Operations teams. Key areas of responsibility will include; day to day relationships with the retailers, sales forecasting and analysis, support with customer presentations and providing administrative support to the commercial team.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position should ideally have one to two years commercial, category or insights experience within the FMCG sector, this experience would be gained whilst working for a food manufacturer/supplier. Fresh produce experience would be a great benefit although not essential. It is important that you have an interest in food, you have a good eye for detail and numbers, you are results driven and a real team player.
