One of the UK’s leading dairy manufacturers has created a new opportunity for a Key Account Manager to drive and further develop their presence across North London & East Anglia. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and its portfolio boasts a number of instantly recognised products. Following strong growth of the overall category, the business has achieved national distribution in all sales channels. Following increasing demand for their products, the business has created a Key Account Manager role to support the growth of the business.

Role

As Key Account Manager, you will take direct responsibility for an existing account portfolio which consists of regional accounts across the Foodservice channel. Customers within the portfolio include; regional wholesalers, distributors and end users across the hospitality, education and healthcare channels. In addition to maintaining and developing the existing business, you will be tasked with identifying new customers and developing trading relationships. You will report directly to the Account Controller so can expect a great degree of autonomy to make commercial decisions.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will be a self-motivated sales professional with a track record of developing business within the food industry, ideally with experience in selling to Foodservice customers in a field-based capacity. It is essential that you have worked within a food/FMCG environment. The business is looking for an honest and driven individual who can make a difference in developing the business.
