National Account Executive

Based in Bedfordshire. £30,000 to £35,000, 10% bonus & benefits

An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading family-owned Bakery manufacturers as National Account Executive is now available. Within the UK the business has achieved national distribution across the Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice channels. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and has been recognised by this through a number of industry and supplier awards. They have seen significant growth over recent years, doubling both turnover & profit. Their product range includes both branded & private label Breads & Morning Goods. Following business growth and the launch of a hugely successful brand, they are now seeking an ambitious National Account Executive to join the team.

Responsibilities

As a National Account Executive, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a number of key customer accounts including Brakes, Bidfood, Nisa, Greencore & Bakkavor. In addition to to the management of the mentioned accounts you will support the wider commercial team across the Top 6 grocery multiple retail accounts. Reporting into the Head of Sales you will work closely with the entire Sales team as well as the Category, NPD, Purchasing, Technical, Planning and Operations teams. Key areas of responsibility will include; day to day relationships with the customers, sales forecasting and analysis, support with customer presentations and product demonstrations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with at least two years commercial experience in an FMCG food environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate an energetic, positive “can-do” attitude with a desire to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Relationship building is an integral part to this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate strong internal and external relationship building skills. You will have a keen eye for detail with proven analytical and numerical skills. This role would be an ideal step for a Regional Account Manager or Sales Executive looking to take their first step into National Account Management with a business that truly invests in their people.
