One of UK’s fastest growing privately owned desserts manufacturers has created an opportunity for an Account Executive to join the team. The business has established themselves as one of the leading suppliers within the category they operate. Producing high quality branded and private label products the business has a strong presence across the grocery multiples retail  and Foodservice channels. They remain highly profitable and they have recently invested their production facilities. Following growth of their UK business, they are now looking to appoint a National Account Executive to support the wider commercial team.

Role

As an Account Executive, you will support the wider commercial team across a number of high profile customer accounts. Accounts within the portfolio include, Waitrose, Ocado, Prezzo, Pizza Express, Zizi and Ask to name a few. In addition to supporting the further growth of the current customer base you will tasked with developing new trading relationships. Reporting into the Sales Director you will work closely with the entire Sales team as well as the Category, NPD, Purchasing, Technical, Planning and Operations teams. Key areas of responsibility will include; day to day relationships with the customers, sales forecasting and analysis, support with customer presentations and product demonstrations.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position should ideally have one year’s commercial experience within an food manufacturing environment or FMCG business. At the more junior level, graduates with a Business or Marketing degree would also be considered. The business operates a highly autonomous, entrepreneurial and reward led working environment, your growth within the business will be determined upon your success within the role.  It is important that you have an interest in food, you have a good eye for detail and numbers, you are results driven and a real team player.
