An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading fresh produce producers as National Account Manager has arisen. With a glowing reputation across the industry, the business has well established trading relationships across the retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels. The business specialises in the growing, supplying and delivering fresh fruit.
Operating from two UK sites they currently turnover in excess of £150m. The business pride themselves on offering the highest quality of service whilst ensuring investment in farming, people and their production facilities is maintained. Following significant growth within the Convenience and Wholesale Channel, the business has created an opening for an additional National Account Manager to join the team.
As a National Account Manager, you will take direct responsibility for a number of Convenience and Wholesale accounts, customers within the portfolio include; Spar, Nisa, Budgens, One Stop, Costco and Booker. Reporting into the Senior Trading Manager you will work in an autonomous environment with the ability to influence business decisions. As well as working with the wider commercial team, you will liaise with the development and procurement teams to ensure the best delivery to customers.
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the Convenience and or Wholesale customer channels. As for product background, experience with private label food products is essential. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. The business is looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part of the company’s long-term plans and growth strategy.
