National Account Manager – Fine Foods/Ingredients

We’re delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s foremost suppliers of gourmet foods and ingredients as a Foodservice National Account Manager. Known for their reputation within the industry, our client has established widespread recognition through a multitude of industry and supplier awards. With a established presence throughout the UK, they have achieved nationwide distribution across the foodservice market, notably within national restaurant chains, hotels, contract catering establishments, and travel sectors. Their product portfolio encompasses an impressive array of branded and private label premium chocolate, pastry, and ingredients. Following an internal promotion, the business is seeking an ambitious individual to step into the role of Foodservice National Account Manager.

Role

Reporting directly into the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for an existing customer portfolio of end user customers across contract caterers, national hotel and restaurant groups as well as customer within the leisure and travel channels. Key customers within the portfolio include, Sodexo, Aramark, Baxter Storey, Hilton, Marriot, Accor, Stonegate, P&O & Emirates to name a few. In addition to the management of these customers, you will be tasked with identifying and developing new business target within the Foodservice channel.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will have a proven track record of developing sales and building strong customer relationships within a Foodservice account management position.

Exposure to Foodservice End User customers within either a branded or private label food or drink environment is essential as well as possessing a real passion for premium food products. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to build relationships internally and with your customers. You will be a well organised team player with the drive, motivation and enthusiasm to achieve sales and delivering success.

Location – This is a home-based role with frequent travel to customers and the company head office in West London, the ideal candidate will therefore be based in the South East of England

Benefits – £50,000 to £55,000 (negotiable), Uncapped bonus, hybrid/electric company vehicle, pension & benefits
