Senior National Account Manager
Salary £50,000 to £70,000, 10% bonus, 4% pension, company car or car allowance
An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading fresh produce producers as Senior National Account Manager has arisen. With a glowing reputation across the industry, they have well established trading relationships across the retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels. The business specialises in the sourcing, supplying and delivering fresh exotic fruit and speciality vegetables.
Operating from two UK sites the business currently turnover stands at £150m. The business pride themselves on offering the highest quality of service whilst ensuring investment in farming, people and their production facilities is maintained. Additionally, their global integrated partnerships ensure a smooth supply of quality produce all year round.
At the heart of the business is a key focus on delivering commercially sustainable solutions with communities and the local environment in mind. Following significant growth within the retail channel, the business is now seeking an ambitious Senior National Account Manager to join the team.
As a Senior National Account Manager, you will take direct responsibility for a Top 6 Grocery Multiple account. In addition to the management of one of the businesses largest accounts, you will be responsible for the development and management of a National Account Executive. Reporting into the Head of Sales you will work in an autonomous environment with the ability to influence senior business decisions. As well as working with the wider commercial team, you will liaise with the development and procurement teams to ensure the best delivery to customers.
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the grocer multiple retailers. As for product background, experience with private label food products is essential. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. The business is looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part of the company’s long-term plans and growth strategy.
