Grocery National Account Manager – Position now fulfilled
Company
Our client is a leading bakery ingredients business based in London. It’s a six-generation family business that makes and sells flour and mixes to all sectors of the food industry with an enviable reputation for quality and service. The business sells a large range of flours to bakeries, wholesalers, food manufacturers and all the major retailers. They are very much a family business with a “family feel” to it and a friendly culture. A great number of their team have worked in the business for many years. The company has recently completed two major investments the first building a state of the art, purpose-built blending and packaging facility and secondly a new milling site. Following continued business growth, they are seeking a National Account Manager.
Role
As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of retail customers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl. Products within the portfolio include branded flours, cake and bread mixes. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you can expect decisions to be made quickly, working with a great degree of autonomy to drive the business as well as offering personal career development.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the retail multiples, you will be operating at either National Account or Account Executive level. As for product background, experience within the food industry is essential, bakery experience would be a bonus. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. We are looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part our long-term plans and growth strategy.
