Area Sales Manager – Fine Foods

We’re excited to offer an opening for an Area Sales Manager to join a leading supplier of gourmet foods and ingredients in the UK. Known for their reputation within the industry, our client has established widespread recognition through a multitude of industry and supplier awards. With an established presence throughout the UK, they have achieved nationwide distribution across the foodservice market, notably within national restaurant chains, hotels, contract caterers, travel operators and speciality manufacturers. Their product portfolio encompasses an impressive array of branded and private label premium chocolate, pastry, and ingredients. Following continued business, the business is seeking a Area Sales Manager to further develop their business within the South London region.
Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across their customer base within the mentioned regions. This includes managing relationships with existing customers high end hospitality customers such as Michelin Star restaurants and 4 & 5 star hotels, Chocolatiers, Bakers and Ice-cream manufacturers. In addition to developing the existing business you will be tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in line with the company’s overall strategy. You will work closely with the wider Sales and Technical teams to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in sales and account management, with a proven track record of success in the Foodservice / Hospitality sectors. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers. You should also be highly organized and driven, with a passion for exceeding customer expectations and achieving sales targets.
Benefits
c.£40,000, £15,000 bonus (paid quarterly), company car (electric or hybrid), pension & benefits
