National Account Manager – Bakery

An exciting opportunity to join one of Europe’s leading premium bakery suppliers as National Account Manager is now available. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and has been recognised by this through a number of industry and supplier awards. Their product portfolio includes NPD led Breads, Danish, Viennoiserie and Savoury bakery products. Within the UK the business has achieved national distribution across the Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice channels. Following significant business growth, they are now seeking an ambitious National Account Manager to further drive their presence within the Foodservice channel.

Role

As National Account Manager, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of Foodservice customer accounts. In addition to the ongoing development of the existing business you will be tasked with driving new business, particularly with End User customers across coffee shops, Quick Serve Restaurants, hotel groups, travel operators and Contract Caterers. Reporting into the Foodservice Controller you can expect a great degree of autonomy to build and develop the business whilst being given the support to develop your career.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will have an in-depth knowledge of the Foodservice market place. You will have a track record of developing new business with End User customers. As for product background the business would consider candidates from either a private label or branded food or drink background.

This is a home-based role with frequent travel to customers.

Benefits

£45k to £55k (potentially negotiable), company car, bonus, pension & healthcare
