In light of our remarkable growth and strategic investments – including a brand-new site in London and multiple distribution centres across the UK – we have opened up an exciting opportunity for a Foodservice National Account Manager. This new position will play a pivotal role in further developing our national presence and driving our success even further.

Role

At the core of this position lies a focus on providing first-class service and effective account management, something that Classic Fine Foods takes great pride in and attributes its success to. As the National Account Manager, your foremost responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive the expected high level of service while seizing opportunities to further expand the Foodservice market.

Directly reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be in charge of managing an existing customer portfolio consisting of national contract caterers, hotel and restaurant groups. In addition to overseeing these customers, your role will involve identifying and developing new trading relationships across the Foodservice market.

To excel in this role, a robust commercial acumen is essential, enabling you to skilfully negotiate contracts, Joint Business Plans, and trade promotions, while also delivering budget and forecast reports.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will have a proven track record in developing sales and cultivating strong customer relationships within a foodservice account management role. It is essential that they have exposure to foodservice end User customers, including national contract caterers, hotel & restaurant groups, with a genuine passion for premium food products. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be new business focused, preferably with a background in a large wholesaler, and possess a solid understanding of multi-temperature and multi-site distribution.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as the role demands building both internal and customer relationships. The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills and a collaborative team-player attitude, driven by the motivation and enthusiasm to achieve sales and contribute to the ongoing success of Classic Fine Foods.

Location

This is a home-based role with frequent travel to customers, the ideal candidate will be based between Birmingham & London
