National Account Manager – Retail – Bridor
Part of the privately owned Le Duff Group, Bridor is a leading supplier of premium Continental Pastries, Bread and Patisserie products. The parent company, Le Duff Group, operate across 100 countries worldwide owning over 1600 bakeries and restaurants under brands such as Brioche Doree, Mimi’s Café and La Madeleine. Through organic growth and acquisition, the Le Duff group has grown from €600m to over €2bn within the last 10 years.
Established in Brittany, France, in 1988, the business has become a highly respected supplier to the Retail and Out of Home channels. Bridor has built a unique reputation in the world of gastronomy with its Le Notre range, used by some of the best chefs in the world, and is also a partner of prestigious events such as the Bocuse d’Or and the Roux Scholarship.
Bridor represents a €800m share of their parent company, and within the UK have successfully traded premium quality products with high-end customers for over 20 years. Following strong growth both globally and within the UK, Bridor have created a new position for a National Account Manager to further drive their presence with the retail multiples.
At the heart of this role is a focus on first class service and account management, something which Bridor prides itself on and attributes its success to. As National Account Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure customers receive this high level of service expected, whilst maximising the opportunities to penetrate the retail market further.
Reporting directly into the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new initiatives to drive growth within major retail multiple customers.
To be successful in this role you will need to possess a strong commercial acumen to effectively negotiate contracts, JBP’s and trade promotions, along with delivering budget and forecast reports. You will also be required to deliver NPD solutions, so experience working with product development teams in the past is a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate for this position will have a proven track record of developing sales and building strong customer relationships within a retail account management position.
Exposure to retail customers within a private label food business is essential, as well as possessing a real passion for premium food products.
You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to build relationships internally and with your customers. You will be a well organised team player with the drive, motivation and enthusiasm to achieve sales and deliver success for Bridor.
